Last weekend of coburg gallery shopping...

Just a reminder that this saturday and sunday will be the last weekend the coburg house gallery will be open for shopping!!. the gallery will be open 11-5pm on both days. hopefully you can come along and pick up the last of your christmas prezzies. It's only the gallery that is open and not the studios, but still lots to see and buy x x

Coburg's open studios......only TWO WEEKS to go!!!

I've had a busy morning, managed to make/pack + post a couple of pieces for a shoot for the 'skinny' magazine. It's been organized through 'Papa Stour' so hopefully will get some good images/ press from it!

I'm also busy trying to make some stock for our open studios which are only two weeks away now!!!! Doors open to the public saturday and sunday 3rd and 4th of december 11-5pm, as usual lots to see and buy!! I'm really low on jewellery at the moment as I'm taking part in BOTH chrismas dazzle's this year. London is already opened and has had a good start and for those of you in the manchester area Dazzle opens tomorrow at the royal exchange theatre, hopefully you can manage to get along and have a look!

I'm also still trying to restock places so if your waiting for a 'KAZ' top up hopefully it will be making it's way to you soon!

country fresh air...

I managed to escape edinburgh for a couple of days to visit the mum and dad Robertson for their 40th wedding anniversary!!! Congratulations mum and dad x x The views there are definitley a change from my shabby chic leith views!!. It wasn't all county walks and fresh air though...I took my manchester dazzle box of goodies to finish, label and price-that's the real life of a jeweller I'm afraid!

A little taster of what's going to manchester. It's my first manchester dazzle, and I don't have any regular stockists there so I'm hoping that I'll pick up lots of new 'Kaz Jewellery' fans, and that the show will be a success x x

Hiya again.....sorry I've been very lazy recently with all my blogging/facebooking and etsying!!! Had a manic month with the miss Hannah Louise Lamb's(now mrs Scott) wedding, which was fantastic and all us girls had a road trip to cornwall for the celebrations!!! Alot of fun(and wine!) was had by all, but now it's time to knuckle down and get back into jewellery mode!!

Count down to open studios!

making,tidying, and organising this week as there are 5 days left until we open the coburg house studio doors to the public once again!!

3 floors of studios and the gallery space all open for you to come and snoop around. Loads to see..... jewellery, painting, ceramics, bags etc. We're open friday the 5th aug till sunday the 7th aug 11am till 6pm. Come along, bring friends and treat yourselves.

Edinburgh dazzle moving venue!

edinburgh dazzle open from 5th-29th august.  This year it's moving from the traverse theatre to the george square theatre...make sure you go to the right venue!!  Looks like there will be some fab resin jewellery there!!! x

Brooches...smooches!

I've just sent work away to the 'Ornament' exhibition taking place at Rua Red, south dublin arts centre.   The exhibition runs from  14th may till the 18th of june.  Here's a photo of the stairway that inspired the work for the exhibition and a photo of some of the finished brooches-there was a little vintage kaz brooch slipped into the show too as I thought it worked with the new pieces. 

Ambitious...or a bit mad???

So, I've started this MASSIVE necklace.  When finished I think it will be quite something, however it's going to be a mission to actually make.  Every little square of resin needs to be filed, finished, drilled and fittings attached!!  and some will be patterned too!!!  I started off really excited about it and cut out all the squares, since then its sat on my bench....probably for about 4 weeks!!!  I need to start maybe doing a few little bits a day.  I'll let you know if it makes it to  a finished piece! x
