school visit...

On monday I had a visit from Jill Brown and her higher art class students from Beath High School in Cowdenbeath, Fife. They are currently doing a recycled jewellery project as part of their course and Jill thought it would be a good idea for them to come and see what a designer/makers studio looked like, how things are made, and to see some of the equipment needed.

I hope they all enjoyed the morning, I know merryn (hannah's staffie) loved having you all here! I would have loved to have seen peoples studios when I was at school. I don't think I knew this world existed until I was at college. Anyway thanks for the visit and hope your project goes well! Jill-thanks for the chocolates, they went down a treat x

new love dazzle stock...

Ive been busying away taking photos and uploading them to the love dazzle website this morning. Here's a wee sneaky peak of what's to come- 'mis-match dotty earrings £98. It might take a day or so for lisa to get them checked and put on the website so don't panic if you go to my page and it hasn't been updated, it will happen soon. Been a while....

Sorry I haven't blogged for ages!!! I have been busying away in the studio but to be honest haven't been doing much online due to my very annoyingly slow laptop...time to splurge on a new one very soon I think!

Anyway been a busy little week so far... new stock out to 'concrete wardrobe', edinburgh, 'studio 24' in west kilbride, and the 'strathearn gallery' in Creiff. Trying to finish off a couple of pieces so I can post off work to 'oriel mostyn gallery' in Llandudno, hopefully get it all out tomorrow!!

Well I'll keep it short and sweet - off to make some more jewellery x

Last weekend of coburg gallery shopping...

Just a reminder that this saturday and sunday will be the last weekend the coburg house gallery will be open for shopping!!. the gallery will be open 11-5pm on both days. hopefully you can come along and pick up the last of your christmas prezzies. It's only the gallery that is open and not the studios, but still lots to see and buy x x

Coburg's open studios......only TWO WEEKS to go!!!

I've had a busy morning, managed to make/pack + post a couple of pieces for a shoot for the 'skinny' magazine. It's been organized through 'Papa Stour' so hopefully will get some good images/ press from it!

I'm also busy trying to make some stock for our open studios which are only two weeks away now!!!! Doors open to the public saturday and sunday 3rd and 4th of december 11-5pm, as usual lots to see and buy!! I'm really low on jewellery at the moment as I'm taking part in BOTH chrismas dazzle's this year. London is already opened and has had a good start and for those of you in the manchester area Dazzle opens tomorrow at the royal exchange theatre, hopefully you can manage to get along and have a look!

I'm also still trying to restock places so if your waiting for a 'KAZ' top up hopefully it will be making it's way to you soon!
