on my way to origin!

hiya

just on my way down to london for a couple of days, mainly to check out origin in it's new venue - spittalfield market!  I didn't apply this year as I felt I needed a wee break- I ve done chelsea/ origin every year since I graduated so felt I deserved a rest!!!  anyways a couple of the girls are showing there so Im gonna go and show them support.

sorry to all my london based customers who might be looking for me at origin.  I'll still be doing london dazzle later this year if you need some kaz jewels and will also be restocking my outlets too.  You can also just get in touch with me direct if you have any queries or withdrawals!!!

Dazzle nearly over again!

well it's almost at an end but august has been soooooo manic!!!! always the same every year! the open studios have came and gone, Dazzle still has a week to go so if you haven't been yet get yourself along to the traverse theatre in edinburgh and have a look....!

I've just finished a batch of work for the arts fund which will feature in their catalogue- goes out at the end of the month so fingers crossed its a success!

The 'finger symbol' exhibition is still on untill the 15th september at the Bonhoga gallery in shetland. The exhibition shows the work of over 50 makers and looks really exciting, if you can't make it to shetland they have an online film featuring some of the rings have a look really quirky little film! www.shetlandarts.org/new-exhibition-for-august-portage-finger-symbols/

I've sent some new pieces to papa stour who have been shaking things up a bit and getting some new things on the site so you should be able to see them soon!

the gallery at coburg is now open for our first ever craft only show!! looks great! had a brilliant open night on friday which was REALLY busy!

its open every day untill sunday the 13th 12-6pm so don't miss out!

i've done some new work for the show, not too different but just trying out some ideas and Ive put on a couple of images - hope you like it!

Ive added on a couple of images of a new necklace which will be part of the collection Im sending to the architecture centre, bristol next week. It's quite a long necklace - about 33inch - and the cream resin disc has spots on one side and stripes on the other so you have two different options in the one piece! off to write up the delivery note etc and get it ready for posting!

Hiya!! sorry Ive been really rubbish with my blogging lately!! I don't even have any excusses so I won't bother to make one up!

just a quick up date on whats happening:

you can still see my work in 'platform gallery' in london, really nice space which Sarah Hutcheson is managing. the showcase finishes at the end of this month so be quick if you want to see it!

If your a local you can pop into the leith gallery which will be featuring some kaz jewellery - opeing tonight!

The annual Visual Arts Scotland exhibition is still running untill the 18th of march where you can also see a smaller collection of my work - on at the RSA at the bottom of the mound, edinburgh.

Im currently getting a group of work together to send to the Arcitecture centre in bristol, for a showcase running from the 1st of april to the 1st of june.

And for all of you dazzle fans I've uploaded a couple of new items to the 'lovedazzle' website!!
