Open studios count down...

Time is flying!!!! Nearly that time again when coburg throws its doors open for you lovely people to come and have a peek! Doors open friday the 3rd august, saturday the 4th and sunday the 5th, 11am till 6pm. Don't think if you've been before you've seen it all either, as we now have the new 'coburg loft'-the new floor of the studios which has a mix of some coburg faithfuls, a.k.a. myself and miss Barry, and some newcomers/new graduates to the studios. There is going to be soooo much to see. hope to see some of you here soon x

a big thanks...

Friday night was a brilliant night! Miss Barry and I would like to thank everyone who made it along to support us. During the run up to the exhibition we had started to question what/why were we doing this?? it was soooo much work to get everything organised and set up and it was only going to be a 3 hour show!!! anyway by the time 6 o'clock arrived and the first of the wine(many to follow!) was poured we were glad we had decided to mark our TEN YEARS ON!

TEN YEARS ON...

Here's a blast from the past!!! my 'wobble rings' from my degree show... I can't believe with all the mayhem of moving studios I've forgotten to mention our TEN YEARS ON exhibition!!! Next friday night 6th july,6pm till 9pm, Miss Barry and I will be having a one night only exhibition to celebrate our ten years in business and being part of the lovely coburg house studios. The exhibition will be held in the coburg gallery, so please come along and join us for a glass a wine and see some of the work on show...old and new!! We are offering a 10% discount on purchases made on the evening, and the chance to win a piece of jewellery in our prize draw! Hope to see you next friday x x

NEW STUDIO!!!!

So, after 10 whole years in our studio(apart from the brief kick out from norrie!) Donna and I are on the move!! don't worry we're not going far...infact, only upstairs! Coburg has extended yet again and we will be part of the new level-'coburg loft'. The new studio is brilliant and I think we both needed a wee change of scene, that's not to say the old studio won't be missed we had some very good times down the stair, and merryn is going to be very confused trying to find our new room. Here's a wee peep at the new studio, and the old one just as we had moved out our stuff. The unveiling of the new studio will be at the next august open studios-more info to follow, so hope to see you all there. Now after all the disruption I think it's time to get back to making some jewellery, and as miss Barry is on holiday next week I expect to be productive x x

Red, blue + white....well cream, close enough!

After a recent request for a royal blue bangle commission, I've been inspired to mix the colour in with some of my other pieces for a wee 'british' range. The rings are available now in my etsy shop. Im also going to be sending some to a new gallery opening soon... BOO gallery, castle ashby, Northamptonshire, is opening its doors in time for the royal jubilee celebrations. There will be a weekend of jubilee celebrations so thought these rings would be great for the show. Think 'lizzy' should bag one for herself before they all go! ha! ha! x

checking in...

Sorry I haven't blogged in ages..had a bit of a busy time with birthday celebrations, and taking a little break from work was great. Apart from that I've just been quietly slaving away in the studio on some new pieces for my show at JAM gallery, Eton later this month. Nearly finished all the pieces now, here's a wee peek at the main necklace for the show-been sticking with the bright yellow colour, it's great for this time of year! I haven't made a massive necklace in ages so it's been good trying things out!
