Count down to open studios!

making,tidying, and organising this week as there are 5 days left until we open the coburg house studio doors to the public once again!!

3 floors of studios and the gallery space all open for you to come and snoop around. Loads to see..... jewellery, painting, ceramics, bags etc. We're open friday the 5th aug till sunday the 7th aug 11am till 6pm. Come along, bring friends and treat yourselves.

Edinburgh dazzle moving venue!

edinburgh dazzle open from 5th-29th august.  This year it's moving from the traverse theatre to the george square theatre...make sure you go to the right venue!!  Looks like there will be some fab resin jewellery there!!! x

well !well! it's time to think about the open studios again!! time is flying by!....

Brooches...smooches!

I've just sent work away to the 'Ornament' exhibition taking place at Rua Red, south dublin arts centre.   The exhibition runs from  14th may till the 18th of june.  Here's a photo of the stairway that inspired the work for the exhibition and a photo of some of the finished brooches-there was a little vintage kaz brooch slipped into the show too as I thought it worked with the new pieces. 

Ambitious...or a bit mad???

So, I've started this MASSIVE necklace.  When finished I think it will be quite something, however it's going to be a mission to actually make.  Every little square of resin needs to be filed, finished, drilled and fittings attached!!  and some will be patterned too!!!  I started off really excited about it and cut out all the squares, since then its sat on my bench....probably for about 4 weeks!!!  I need to start maybe doing a few little bits a day.  I'll let you know if it makes it to  a finished piece! x
