It's almost time again for coburg to invite you all along for our annual christmas open weekend!  Friday the 2nd dec 6-9pm is the opening night if you fancy joining us for some live music, wine and the first dibs on the goodies!  Otherwise we'll be open sat 3rd and sund 4th 11-5pm.

Across the weekend there will also be a pop up cafe in the gallery space to allow you a much needed break from all the beautiful stuff to see here.

I'll be showing some new work alongside my regular collections, and of course there will be the sale section too....x

FESTIVAL OPEN STUDIOS!!

Open studios time again folks!  Would be lovely to see some of you across the weekend.  There will be the usual party atmosphere on the friday night with live music and wine.  Followed by a more relaxed weekend where you can browse the 4 floors of studios.  There will be a cafe so you can have a wee pit stop too.  I've got a couple of new colour combinations and pieces on show and there will also be the 'sale suitcase'.....x

Christmas open studios!!!

Just a wee reminder that our Coburg Christmas Open Studios are THIS WEEKEND!!!!
Opening night friday the 4th 6-9pm then also open saturday and sunday 11-6pm.  There is so much to come and see, don't miss this!!!

It's a great weekend to start your christmas shopping (or your own wish list) and we'll have an in-house cafe too so no need to venture outside to refuel, which is great news especially if the weather is still rubbish!

Look forward to seeing you all at the weekend - Oh! and there will also be £100 prize draw to spend within Coburg, I told you this is not to be missed!...x

So I'm back in the studio after a successful MADEbrighton show.  Time to crack on with other things.  I'm currently topping up my suppliers with new stock in time for christmas - keep an eye on my website for an outlet near you.  The biggie on my to do list is to get prepared for our Coburg Christmas Open Studios!!! I'm really excited about it, they are always so much fun.  If you've been before don't expect to see the same old stuff.  This time a couple of artists have moved studios, new artists have moved in, and Edinburgh Gin will be our sponsor on the opening night providing special 'coburg cocktails' we like to make sure there's something new to keep you coming back!

The private view will be on friday the 5th of december 6-9pm, and then the show continues on saturday the 6th and sunday the 7th of december 11-6pm.  I hope you can make it along x

Coburg @Kalopsia Gallery in O.T.

So a few of us coburg artists are taking over one of the empty spaces in Ocean Terminal in leith in the run up to christmas.  The show will be organised and run by the Kalopsia Collective who have a gallery space within the centre already.  There will be around 20 artists taking part, showing paintings, ceramics, jewellery, paper cuttings + textiles.  It's going to be a great show!  If you'd like to join us for a glass of wine the preview will be tonight - I know short notice! 6-8pm.  The show will continue until christmas eve so plenty of time to come for a look! x

  Saturday + Sunday the 2nd +3rd of August 11am-6pm.  Also for you lucky people in the loop we're open for our private view on Friday the 1st of August 6-9pm for first dibs on all the amazing stuff you can find in this place - and of course some wine!  Incase you've missed a couple, or indeed are a newbie, you can find myself and Donna Barry in studio 46, on the very top floor(loft) of the building....well worth the climb x x  hope to see you all there x

Thanks to the lovely Jo Anne + Libby from Mobilia Gallery for sending us some pictures of the opening reception of our showcase.  It's great being able to see the work out on display, it's a real shame we couldn't make it over...maybe next time.  The show continues until the 23rd of june...x

spotlight show @ mobilia gallery x

Sorry for my lack of blogging recently, myself and Donna have been busying away in the studio getting work ready for our forthcoming spotlight show @ mobilia gallery in boston.  The show opens 15th of may and runs until the 23rd of june.  Here's a few pictures of the work in progress.  Finished photos to come soon as they are being photographed now by marc millar.  Keep an eye on my website for shows and exhibitions.
